I'm debating whether or not to make the switch from AMD to Intel. Currently, I'm using the 8350 with 2x R9 290Xs. Now my question is... would I see less of a bottleneck or greater gains if I switch to a 4670K or 4770K. I planned on buying a new case and motherboard for better airflow and more space between the cards and thought I might as well upgrade.

Thanks

no the 8350 is basically the amds version of a 4770k just at a lower clock and if you were to change you would have to get a new motherboard are reinstall and all that fun stuff

If you are just gaming (which you don't mention) overclock the 8350 as far as you can.

I am just gaming. It's currently cooled by a h110 with no overclock..

Overclocking scares me :/ I also have an outdated board. The 890GXM G-65 by MSI that I wanted to upgrade.

then if your thinking of getting a 4670k for gaming its not going to benefit you its just going to act like your 8350 without a oc
