Quite unsure if this is the right forum for this. But i need some help.

The place i work at wants to livestream a large crowd. So we can limit the ammount of people that are actually here but still let everyone who wants to, watch it. We need a camera that can livestream a crowd of atleast a 100+ people. What would be the best option? We have a microphone already figured out. I havent been given a budget. But it would be nice to stay reasonable.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hmmm, what kind of info? Sorry. Quite new to all this.

Our budget is about.. i'd say 1500-2000? I'd say it'd be recorded from the side of the crowd. Pointed at the guy who will be presenting. Like diagonally towards him. I dont think the room would be that well lit. I genuinly think 1080p would be fine.

Does that help?

live streaming is almost all 1080p or lower

low light makes this fun. any idea how far away the speaker will be from the camera position?

okay so we aren't going tight your trying to get the crowd and them?

well studio/outdoor bright is different than what you think indoor bright is. just thinking about it to not make things look messy

are you feeding this into a computer to capture?

Maybe handy to say. Its a school, reward ceremony type thing. I'm really quite unsure how it'll all play out. I'm just making guesses. I think its easier to go with this: Low/decent light. Camera angle/distance. Uncertain. Direct feed into a pc for livestreaming.

XA40 is option known to work good about 1500$ but only HDMI out if you need SDI then XA45 is what you need

I can't recommend any JCV cameras they all look so horrible.

the AG-AC30 is a great camera but I've never live streamed with it

So an XA40 has an hdmi out? I guess you attach it to a capture card? Any reccomendations for those?

Yep. You could convert to SDI using a blackmagic adaptor.
as for capture cards epox vos I don’t have enough memorized on them
