Hmm thats odd.. well if its working then best leave it i think.. if it stops working again then more investigating will be needed.. fingers crossed!

Welp, my pc restarted again and now it's doing the EXACT same thing. I have tried everything I have done previously but it's just resetting again. This is really starting to annoy me now.

I can't change the primary, it just stays at 127.0.0.1

Go back to command prompt and type netstat -b

This will show all TCP connections and which programs are using them. Have a look for anything suspicious and write them on here

I just found a copy of Windows 7 lying around, so im doing a reformat to see if it makes a difference.

Looks like Windows re-install fixed it. Maybe a weird virus or something.

That was my first thought, although a scan should have picked something up. Glad its sorted
