HyperX Cloud Alpha Mic Problems

As stated above I have been having mic issues. I got the headset recently and I have been loving it. Just tonight I was browsing youtube and then someone got online so I proceeded to plug my mic back in but it just stopped working. Nothing made it detect. I attempted using it on my PS4, plugging it into the back of my motherboard and making it so I can hear it but nothing works. Before I go presuming my mic is bricked any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
