PC does not power up

Its my first build and I've been following the documentation + LTT videos on how to build a PC

 

There's no power when I push the the button

 

PS: MB is Zen 2 Ready

 

I think everything is plugged correctly? Cable managment not done since it does not start.

Check the switch on the back of the psu, check the front panel I/o making sure they are in the right places. If not try unplugging a ram stick then booting. Also try resetting cmos. Also I see that you put the ram stick in slot 1 and 4. They have to be spaced out 1 slot so that means 2 and 4

are you getting any sign of life on the mobo or ram? e.g: if you have any rgb is it on? are the fans running? Make sure you connect the front panel io and turn the power on at the psu switch.

the ram is in 2 and 4 in the photo.

PSU Switch is on

No, No fans spin, no RGB light, nothing.

 

Front Panel io already done 4 times following the Motherboard documentation and i dont know if im doing it wrong.

Are the power supply cables correctly inserted (you haven't plugged in an 8 pin PCIe cable into the CPU EPS header or something like that)

i would now make sure you have all the psu connectors plugged in properly like the 8-pin cpu and 24pin mobo.

It looks like the power switch wire is in the first header  instead of the second one. Try moving it over one

Yeah it was a wrong picture, its alread on its place.

The MB I have plugged the one on the MB and the one on the PSU, but in the same cable there is 8pins that im not using, are those the problem or what?

You're front panel is not hooked up correctly . I don't know how no one else knows it's wrong with multiple pictures of it.

You have your Power Switch connector where the Power LED connectors go.

Your PLED+ is the far left and PLED - right next to it, they go where you have the Power Switch connector now and the Power Switch connector goes directly above where you have the Reset Switch.

i've just looked at my mobo ( have the same one) and the io ins't plugged in properly i dont think

I also realized that @LordWk move the powersw connector one to the right and you powerled’s to where your powersw was

All front panel connectors should be on the left side of the front panel header, look at the motherboard manuals diagram again. PLED on the top left, Power Switch on top right, HDD LED on bottom left and Reset Switch bottom right, all connectors should be on the left hand side of the front panel header and should form a rectangle when all together.

Still no power

 

 

In the first post there is where i plugged everything and how the back of the PSU looks, it could be something of that?

The front panel is correct in that picture, if you have the PSU hooked up correctly once you plug it into the wall and turn the PSU power switch to on(the I not 0) the ROG logo on the motherboard should light up indicating that you have power. If it doesn't then you know the PSU is not properly hooked up.

Is the ROG logo in the top left of the motherboard lighting up when you plug the computer into the wall and flip the power switch?

What is the brand and model of the PSU you have?

nvm it was a power cable for the mb that was separated and not plugged in, it works!!! thanks anyway it woulnd work without your advice on the front panel!!
