While i'm play games, my computer will randomly hard freeze, requiring me to shutdown my PC. It could be 30 minutes into a game, or 3 hours into a game. But it seems that when I freeze on a game once, and play it again right after the freeze, the time it will take to freeze again will be shorter. I've already ran two RAM tests which told me my ram was fine. I've updated my computer's graphics card and downloaded all window updates. I've bought a new graphics card and power supply, still freezes. The computer only freezes on games too, not if i'm just using a software or google.

Have you monitored temperatures to make sure there is no overheating going on?

I have monitored my CPU temp with CPUID HWMonitor, but it really didn't go over the max temperature that the software had set. I have also put a box fan facing into my computer case that had the side of it off, but it would still hard freeze.

8GB of RAM is on the low side nowadays, it could be Windows is sending parts of the game that it can’t fit to the paging file on your drives, if not that you could try reinstalling Windows.

Quote me or @TwilightRavens if you want me to see your reply. I may go inactive for a long time from time to time because I forget how to socialize, but I will be back... eventually.

I don't think the problem is the first thing you said since I would freeze on games that don't require much RAM. I have wiped my PC before. It still froze before and after the wipe while playing games. I'm not sure if wiping a PC will reinstall windows or not so it could be the problem?

What about GPU temperatures?

I am not a pro with cases, but maybe your GPU is squeezed to tightly in there...
