Hi guys. I’m about to put together a gaming pc and I’m aiming for 1440p. As I’m coming from an Xbox one X console I don’t know whether I should be aiming for 1440p or 1080p? The cpu and gpu I’m going with is a Ryzen 5 3600 and rtx2070 super. I’m trying to get everything right so I’m not disappointed once it’s all together. Any advice or info you guys can share would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Most gamers aim for refresh rate over resolution. Though all depends what kind of gamer you are. If you like nice looking graphics, then fps and refresh rate aren't important. If you like smooth experience, 120Hz is minimum you should be aiming for. At 1080p as resolution doesn't really matter (and competitive want bigger pixels).
