From time to time a service called "antimalware service executable" will run using high cpu usage..... Following that ICUE and corsair. service will also use alot of my cou which causes it to be pinged at 100% and making my pc unusable... I have a 9700k and a gtx 1080. My fans and lighting is controlled through ICUE but I dont understand why it uses such high cpu in those instances.. on idle corsair.service only uses 1% icue is something like 0.5%.

Your system is scanning for viruses and malware. This is normal operation. Let it sit idle for an hour or two, and come back to it, Then check idle usage.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora

okay but why does corsair.service and icue use more cpu usage when my pc scans for viruses? Could it be because its controlling my fans based off my cpu temp which requires cpu usage to do that? Might sound dumb idk

If it's really your anti-virus there isn't much you can do, maybe change it's priority, allow it to use just 1 core...

I prefer system restore points to running active anti-virus all the time...

You can block shady websites on DNS level, so they will never even load. Pi Hole is amazing.

Im pretty sure its windows defender doing a scan but that still doesnt answer the fact that icue and service.corsair both use 20-30 cpu usage when this happens. Myabe it is because I use ICUE to control my fans so they are speeding up as my cpu is used more? idk

Not sure. I run without these software, and let the motherboard do its thing. I have a particular distaste for bloatware like that.
