So I wanted to upgrade my stock psu from a 240w to a 300-ish w power supply but the problem is I couldn't find any trusted name brand power supply that has the right size for my pc case locally. And I don't want to buy those janky no name cheap but high wattage power supply because it might make my pc explode

If someone knows a power supply that has the right size please let me know

REQUIRED SIZE OF THE PSU:

L (from the longest point) : 8 inches
W: 3.5 inches
H: 2.2 inches

2.2 inches?!  That’s small.  There are a bunch of   standardized PSU form factors but 2.2” is something I normally only associate with server stuff that comes in pairs for hot swapping.  Figuring out the name of the form factor would help a lot.  Part of the issue is these things are most often measured in mm so inches makes things hard.  It might be one of the two SFXes.  I don’t know though because they’re measured in mm not inches.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Sfx starts at 63mm and goes up.  The 63mm ones use tiny 60mm fans.  Bespeaks some sort of oddball non consumer type PSU.  It’s not impossible it’s proprietary.  I suggest contacting the manufacturer.

I forgot to say but there is still actually more space the height part is kind of interchangeable and the only variable that can't be interchanged is the width cause there is drive caddies blocking it unless the psu is shorter, and if you're wondering what my system is, it is a prebuilt dell vostro and the psu uses a 4-pin to power the mother board, also the market for those size/type of psu's in my country are scarce, but there are some who sells those but the pricing on them is really over priced for a sub par 400W psu
