keep up the GREAT videos... also my graphic card is intel hd 4000 2gb switchable WITH AMD radeon (7670 I THINK) anyways... thanks

1. Install latest MSI Afterburner( v3.x)

2. Enable "Unofficial Overclocking with PowerPlay support" in Afterburner setting.

3. Run game with your AMD GPU.

4. Alt+Tab to Desktop and run MSI Afterburner. It should be able to detect our AMD GPU now.

Thanks.. 1 more thing though...

I have an Intel HD4000 AND an AMD 7670 HD, when I first got my laptop, the AMD was working perfect, but the Intel Hd4000 software was OLd (thus the fps was like 60-70) but when I upgraded my Intel HD4000, the FPS was AMAZING (150-200), yet my AMD Radeon was NOT identified, I couldn't open the anything in the catalayse, or anything else regarding the AMD graphics card...

Thanks :)

LOL. You should have said that earlier instead of saying it's disabled. Your switchable graphic is broken because u've updated your Intel HD 4000 driver, To restore it back to normal, you either use driver from HP website or download Leshcat's latest 13.5 beta 2 UnifL driver here. I suggest to take the latter because it use latest driver for both AMD and Intel GPU.

Please read his manual here prior to installation especially the cleanup instruction.

Yeah, you can simply reinstall it using the original HP driver or use Leshcat's driver if you want latest version.

read Leshcat manual..

http://leshcatlabs.net/manual]

Basically, Uninstall from Programs and Features, enter Safemode and use DriverFusion to remove AMD and Intel graphic drivers and then install the new driver.

Ok... I took your advice, and now BOTH cards are RECOGNIZED, AMAZING, right?
Now I get this message

alpha blending with d3dfmt_a16b16g16r16f is not supported which is required to run this game   (Dishonored)

and also, any OTHER game I open crashes, O.o (Crossfire) (Red Alert3) (Crysis3)...

did you set all those games to use High-Performance graphic in Catalyst Control Center? Which driver you installed? Directx up to date?

Any error message when the game crashed? Screenshot pls.

Also, can u run Gpu-Z and check if it detect both GPUs.

About Dishonored, maybe you can try edit the BaseEngine.ini file and toggle FloatingPointRenderTargets value.

Well, I'd love to screen cap but I can't run Fraps anymore since it is failing to run Direct X9

and I canNOT run any other game, some friends tell me it's because they're 32-bit while I have a 64 bit

Dishonored is 32-bit and it only started crashing right after I downloaded the setup :/

Also, can I just add you on skype and you could help me out faster? Thanks :)

lol.. no need to do that.

perhaps leshcat's driver is not compatible with your laptop. i suggest you to reinstall with the original driver that came with your laptop.

nah.. you can run 32bit program/game just fine.

6GB of video ram? Or you mean system ram because if i'm not mistaken, HD7670M only have 1GB and 2GB variant, and i think yours is 2GB. That's not the point though, the amount of VRAM in you GPU doesn't not reflect the performance especially on mobile platform.

Laptop/mobile GPU is significantly slower compare to Desktop GPU. I have HD6770M which is slightly faster than yours and its only comparable to Desktop HD6670 or GTS450 for Nvidia. I can game pretty good at 1366 but not 1920. You can't expect much performance from them unless you get the cream of the crop GTX680M/HD7970M.

Download the driver from HP website, the AMD driver on HP website will include Intel HD driver, so that's all you need to install. Don't forget to disable window update since it can break switchable graphic component.

I must ask, what laptop do you have xAcid9, I have a HP dv6 6195ca which has Intel 3000HD and Radeon HD 6770m 2GB. I'm curious if that Leshcat driver will make my system run smoother, as basically the only games my laptop does OK with are source games like garrys mod haha. I currently just have the most recent drivers from HPs page.

(sorry to kinda highjack the topic, but I saw a window of opportunity lol)

I have DV6-6001TX, HD6770M 1GB + HD3000. Driver from HP website dated 2011, i'm sure you'll get better performance with newer game using newer driver. I suggest you try UnifL 13.2 beta 5, this driver give me zero problem.
