So I was just using my laptop trying to close stuff on task manager, I closed windows explorer now my laptop is on a black screen? What happened

Restart it and you'll be fine, just hold the power button until it turns off and then turn it back on.

Just hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, this will open up a windows security menu. then you can get an option to re-open taskmanager. Once you have task manager open, you can use TM to start or run a new task, the task you want to start or run, is "explorer" , or, if you are using the command module, "start explorer.exe" Explorer is "basically" the Graphical User Interface of the windows OS.

If you feel like you have to keep manually closing task's yourself, to save CPU availability or ram, then there could be a better solution than always closing them manually, such as, finding what's turning those programs on, and stopping them at the source, for example, you can go to steam and set it to not start when windows turns on. same with skype an discord and a few other types of programs and apps.
