Looking for a new CPU

Hey, I'm very new to this site so sorry if my format is wrong.

I build a computer some time back and over all I love this computer, but the CPU maxes faster than I like. I'm a CADD operator and sometimes hard commands can max the CPU or get close to it, same goes for certain games. I was wondering if you guys had an idea for a CPU that would work well with my build.

Thank you in advance.

(Note the power supply isn't the correct brand but is correct watts.)

Well your motherboard supports 9000 series CPUs I believe, so depending on how much money you want to spend you can get up to the 9900KS, but as far as the minimum I would upgrade to, the i5 9600 is probably the minimum. You're looking at 2.9 vs 3.7GHZ in base clock speeds. Anything more powerful than the 9600 is an option, but anything lower isn't going to give you a big performance boost.

CADD is a cpu intensive application. I as well, recommend at least an i5 9600k. They're currently on sale at NewEgg and CanadaComputers.

Intel Core i7 9700F / Cooler Master 212 Evo / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / 16 GB G.SKILL RAM @ 2666MHz / GA-B365M-DS3H / EVGA 500w PSU

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 / Ryzen 5 4600H / GeForce GTX 1050 / 8 GB @ 3200MHz
