My pc has been shutting down for the last 15 min.I sadly resort to pressing the power button and forcing it to shutdown

This issue has been happening on every shutdown

Is there anything i can do to resolve it?

Boot into safe mode and try it. If it works in safe mode, something is wrong with windows. Sounds like a process is holding up the shut down sequence. Check the event viewer also.
