So I'm sending my macbook up to Rossman for repairs I have an old Dell Latitude E4300 I put windows 10 on it and who'da thunk it it works but my question is I found that this laptop had pre-installed vista on it and it has the product key on the back, I only need this to get by but would I have better performance with vista since this laptop is from that era I'm not really seeing anything wrong while running win 10 just curious

If it just for a limited time period stick with W10. It's recent, supported by applications and it shouldn't really have a negative (more likely positive) performance impact compared to vista

No laptop with Vista ever worked well. If I could have, all in my house would have been on XP. So answer is no, it wouldn't. Using 32bit Win10 is better, or you could go Linux route unless you have some Windows only software you need.

Thanks guys yeah no real need just wondering if windows 10 would effect performance on such an old laptop
