ROG G751 repaste

So my CPU goes as high as 96 degrees celsius, while GPU hits 87/88 degrees and throttles.
I pretty much have to open it up and clean/repaste everything at this point, been 1.5 years since the last time anyway.
But I've never done it myself before, so I need some guidance.
Which termal paste would work the best for this model? I've seen a number of people complainig about kryonaut and mx-4 drying up quickly.
Also, I was expecting to see thermal pads on VRMs but there was some grease/paste instead.

Maybe I'm wrong and they did use the pads but they melted. So what should I use for them, thermal pads or the same paste I use for cpu/gpu? If it's the pads, how thick should they be and what kind is the best?

i have the same question i dont know what thickness to use where. Did you manage to figure it out?

I just used the thermal paste everywhere instead of thermal pads and it worked out fine.
