Hi so i built a new pc with the following parts:

Ryzen 3 2200g
Patriot Viper 4 3000MHz 8gb
corsair 450m psu
Gigabyte b450m s2h

So the problem is that i can play games sometimes for several hours without any issues
but other times my games will just crash at 10-20 mins in.
When looking at the event viewer it says that faulting module name is: "Game.exe" or for example "GTA5.exe"
I have reinstalled my drivers and even installed them without the radeon software and still problem remains .
I have also clean installed windows.
I have posted this in many forums and cant find a solution.
If you think you can help its greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You probably barely meet minimum spec on x game. I had this happen when I was playing d2 on some laptop before I upgraded and it would just drop to 1 frame when x amount of things were happening and it would just log me out and say graphics error. Though not exactly the same the answer might just be an upgrade.

Also to notice that in apex legends for example this happens when nothing crazy is going on and my temps are fine too

Hope i can actually find a solution some time xP

might it be a hardware problem?

Make sure XMP is enabled in the BIOS and that the timings are 16-18-18-36 according to xmp spec and not at 15-15-15-36 according to base spec.

Ryzen hates odd timings and can cause instability, I have experienced this across multiple Ryzen builds.

Hi and thanks for the reply!

my timings are 16-18-18-18-36 and i have xmp1 enabled.

Some things i forgot to mention:

My temps are fine when gaming at 70 degrees max.

Yesterday i ran Stressmypc and at about 10-15 mins i got blue screen with the error code:Page fault in non paged area.

I have ran memtestx86 overnight and no errors.

viewing the minidump details the crash address is:ntoskrnl.exe+1c2390

Page fault in non paged area is a memory error, Usually its a hardware error but could be software related.

It means it was trying to access a part of memory that no longer exists or is corrupt.

Check Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application and System to see if it shows any errors https://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-systems/windows-10/how-to-use-event-viewer-in-windows-10/

Also try dropping your ram down to 2133 while keeping xmp on and run a stress test and see if it lasts longer. Its not ideal to Run Ryzen at this speed but can help in determining if its hardware related.
