Books recommendations

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some new books about HW architectures (cpu, gpu, mobo stuff, memory (although it hasn't changed much), etc.), I know some old-ish ones but my understanding is that no books cover the latest tech (2014+), or are there new releases? Thanks in advance! :) 

P.S. Also any books covering modern APIs? Something not too hardcore tho, don't know much about them.

If your after that kind of info there are some websites and channels like moore's law is dead(mostly talking about not launched products), anand tech with Dr C, level1techs sometimes, GamersNexus can have some super detailed stuff as well.  


most books won’t keep up.
