Hello guys, forgive my english

so last week i picked up Apple PowerMac G5 with 30inch Apple Cinema display combo for 200 euros. Almost mint condition with boxes. So i fired them up and they worked perfectly. Then i started thinking about connecting that display to my PC. It's a pretty good machine with 9600k and rtx 2070. But that apple display needs a DVI dual-link cable to run on its full resolution and i don't have it on my card :/. So then i thought that i could put GPU from PowerMac (Geforce 6600) to my PC. But im kinda scared. My question is if i can safely run a RTX 2070 simultaneously with Geforce 6600.

I think it would be more cost effective to buy an adapter cable to convert from DVI-Dual link to HDMI. From what I read, the specs are the same but just a different format and HDMI can carry audio.
