Hard to argue with the Pro4, but the B450M/AC is guaranteed to work with third gen ryzen. Are you looking to buy from a local retailer, to check if the box says "ryzen 3000 ready" on it?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

I've actually just bought two Pro4's and they were both updated. One from Newegg, one from Amazon. Friend bought a steel legend from US Amazon and it was updated as well. Pretty sure we're finally starting to phase out of this era

Just at the middle-end of it's life cycle no doubt 🙄

And yet another series of supported processors that will require a bios update and the cycle restarts. :P

I was looking for a matx mobo for around 110 usd. I was looking at the ASRock B450M Pro4 AMD AM4 mATX Motherboard. I would be putting in a ryzen 5 3600 and an rx 5700

how is the MSI B450M Mortar MAX priced? :) .

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

Pro4 matx is fine. But I will recommend the msi pro vdh max or the mortar max.

Pro vdh max usually goes around for same price as that of a pro4.
