rx580 expectations?

Alright so I am getting a egpu for my apple macbook pro 2017 which is an rx 580. I have attached my specs below. I am wondering if this will work good for vr. Also what quality will I expect from gta5 online? (yes I am downloading windows). And just in general what are the limitations?

I ran vr games on a rx 570/ryzen 5 2400g windows machine and games like star trek bridge crew, superhot, catan and robo recall ran okay, but had to be set on the lowish settings...elite dangerous on the absolute lowest. It should work, but dont expect a consistent 90 fps from your rx 580/ i5 combo.

 

IMO, gta5 should run fine though on normal settings.

I have an rx580 and a R5 2600 and I get 60fps consistently with a few settings tweaked. Always feels pretty smooth and playable so you should be good.
