Games are stuttering-Decent PC

Go to solution Solved by zxcvbnmmssdh,

AC4 has had issues with stuttering and tearing, even on my PC. Haven't heard about Bioshock Infinite though

Hey all,

Recently I have been having some problems with a couple of games, those games being Assassins Creed 4 and Bioshock infinite. When using the suggested settings by GeForce Experience (a mix of ultra and high) The games stutter and freeze when turning the character and looking around fast. And here's what's got me confused, I thought "hey maybe these settings are too high for my pc" and turned the settings to medium presets (this is Ac4 btw) but the game was stuttering exactly the same way as on the GeForce experience settings, I even turned them to low, no improvement.

My specs are:

i7 950 3.2GHZ

12GB Kingston HyperX Blu

GIGABYTE X58A-UD3R

EVGA GTX 670 FTW

Any help will be appreciated,

Thanks

Not to my knowledge, I have just stopped playing it because it is so bad. Every time I synchronize or in a cut scene it tears out of existence and just stutters.

The symptoms sound like a cpu bottleneck but honestly I don't think thats the problem based on your specs.

A lot of newer games have issues like that nowadays.  Make sure you're using the latest stable drivers, uninstalled the old ones, etc etc

It's a shame that stuff like this happens for big AAA titles like Ac4

Yep, was really looking forward to the gameplay and mechanics
