the sff pc dude

soooo
I want to upgrade this crapy laptop.

Budget: $320 - $500 MAX

I'm planning to use a egpu, dont know witch one, also witch box to put it in.

Is it possible to upgrade ram?

Is storage enough?

Expectations: I want to be able to play GTA5 online in 1080p 60fps at the least. (yes I will be downloading windows). Also I want to be able to connect it to a 27 inch screen.

Both the RAM and the SSD are soldered on the newer MacBooks, so the only upgrade you can do is an eGPU. I'm not too familiar with which graphics cards work well on MacOS, so hopefully someone else can suggest one.

These are the ones recommended by Apple. Just so you know, you can only use AMD cards with macs so be careful not to pick one with Nvidia card in it.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response
