Hi, I think I know the answer to this but just wanted to make sure before spending the money. My current motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus gaming 7 (z370) and my current cpu is a i7 8700k. I am looking to upgrade my mobo because there are some features that my current one does not have and I don’t want to try to struggle with rgb fusion anymore. Anyways, the board I was thinking about was the Asus Maximus XI code which is z390. I just wanted to check if it is compatible with my current cpu and if it would still work when I upgrade my cpu. Sometime in the future I would like to upgrade to a 9900k. Thank you for the help.

Hahaha. Appreciate the help. I can’t really go to micro center and talk to someone about it rn. I just didn’t want to spend a bunch of money just to find out I can’t use it.
