It's been little over a year since I built this PC, here are the specs:

CPU: Core i5 9400f
Motherboard: MSI B360M Pro VDH
RAM: 16gb gskill Aegis (8x8)
GPU: 6gb ZOTAC nvidia 1660
SSD: HP 120gb
HDD: Segate 1TB
The issue I am facing is I cannot seem to get into the BIOS no matter what I do, I have tried almost every solution suggested out there like

using a ps/2 keyboard
using the black usb ports
trying different keyboards
pressing all the buttons suggested
clear the cmos

and other things, even after following like 20 solutions I cannot seem to get access to the bios...
The BIOS is in legacy mode so the uefi bios fix does not work for me, is there anything I am missing...?

I doubt I'll have a solution, but just a thought, when you initially turn the PC on, does an Intel boot screen come up where you can press CTRL+S?

Ah ok, sorry just a thought since mine has a funny Intel boot thing. Have you tried accessing the BIOS from the Windows recovery settings?

Yes, as I mentioned above I do not use UEFI, my BIOS is in legacy mode. So the UEFI firmware thingy does not apply... Unless there is another way which I am not aware of.

Ah right, sorry about that, have you tried pressing F8 (sorry if you've already tried this). Apparently pulling a stick of RAM out can also be enough to trigger the BIOS?

F8 yes, also I do remember doing the pulling the RAM stick out. Lemme try it one more time... maybe I will get lucky.

Hmmm, the only one I am yet to try is resetting the jumper... But I need to get a jumper cap, just to make sure this is the one we are talking about, right? Just making sure.image.png.17f3919c3202a345681c06c372dc4358.png

But wait... if removing the CMOS wouldn't let me in the BIOS, would the jumper reset help?

From that thread with the same issue:..

"I have to present the resolution of the situation, because of those who showed interest in helping and also because of all those who have, had, or will have the same problem,  since I didn't saw written anywhere, any information by LG (LG24MP68 monitor) or by graphics card manufacturer, in this case, Sapphire or ATI.
Very briefly, after several attempts to "recover" the lost access to the BIOS, I began to uninstall all critical things that seemed to be able to influence... something. Therefore, any software associated with the MSI (because of MoBo) was uninstalled (one program at a time ...). After rebooting, all the same.
Later I uninstalled the drivers of the Sapphire Radeon RX480.

It was when the s***t hit the fan, because after the reboot, I could no longer access Windows as the login screen did not appear. Only the monitor message of the signal absence and then black screen.
Hereby the keyboard, continued to blink and the computer needed a few seconds with the power button pressed to shut down, and other things which indicated that the computer worked but that something was really wrong when it came to viewing.
Already in desperation and, after some logistical work :p, I connected the computer to a Samsung 32 "TV (always HDMI).
I turned the computer on and quickly screen appeared from MSI with the options to enter the BIOS and a few seconds later, the Windows login screen 0_o !!!!!
I rebooted again the machine and saw in the television that message stating the type of connection in that source: 1980x1200 60hz. This was where I heard the bells ringing!!!!!!

When I bought this card and monitor it was because of the quality / price ratio of the two and monitor with Freesync and card Freesync Compatible.

With this technology, it' s possible to raise the refresh rate of the usual 60Hz to 75Hz, thus increasing the number of possible fps to transmit to the monitor but most important, to end with screen tearing, without resorting to bulls**t V-Sync that in many situations, destroys more games and gameplay than it helps improve viewing.

Thus, the BIOS (or in this case the home screen boot) does not appear visible with the active Freesync, appearing only, the Windows login screen!!!!
This is so basic that "So, it was only necessary to turn off the Freesync to regain access to the BIOS entry screen"! Not so! This is because, for any reason that transcends me, the Freesync is only activated and deactivated effectively in the  MONITOR ITSELF menu!!! The options only appear unlocked... if the monitor is receiving an image (signal) :( !!!!!!!!!"""  "

Try the suggested in this thread.....

Try the suggested in this thread.....

wait wait... so let me get this right... as the thread suggests... I must connect the PC to a TV and that might help me get into the BIOS? Hell why not I shall try that as well if it gets me results lol. The monitor that I am using now is an ASUS VP228H and it's connected through a HDMI port if that helps.

I think it has more to do with the refresh rate than the TV, but you can try....

I saw something about pressing F8 but according to the manual for your motherboard the BIOS key is Delete. I'd say plug a USB keyboard into a USB 2.0 port and smash that Delete button as fast and as many times as you can the second you press the power button to turn it on. Just keep pressing it till it pops up. If it doesn't, then I have failed you.
