Hey guys,

Can someone tell me the difference between the Samsung UE32F6400 and the Samsung EU32F6510S?

The price is 60 euro different but why?

Thanks.

because TVs are a waste of money, especially "smart" TVs.

and maybe the difference is that one of them has terrible reviews?:

Well here in Holland they both have good reviews and tell me why smart tv's are a waste of money, what would you recommend?

smart TVs are utter crap because the user interface is crap and slow, and you could just buy something like a cheap roku or apple tv or something and you would have a much better experience.

Besides, apparently the google chromecast is getting released in the UK next month. It's an absolutely amazing device (that looks like a USB stick) and will allow you to easily stream stuff directly from your phone to any TV (any TV with a usb port).

If you want a good experience, get a plasma tv from panasonic if you can still get them. If you're going to use it as a computer monitor though, I wouldn't recommend it because of screen burn in. Try to find a panasonic GT30 or above (GT40 or GT50). They are still smart TVs and the UI isn't as horrible as the samsung smart TVs, but most importantly those Pansonic plasmas are sooooooooo much better than anything else on the market for picture quality.

yeah a roku is better .smart tv lags. also avoid 3d on 32''. however F6400 is not a crap tv i`ve seen it and played with it in person. the picture quality is amazing it has high contrast(deep blacks) . hoever if you don`t necesary want 3d which is stupid anyways, get a Sony kdl-32w650(smart,wifi built in) or samsung 32F5000(not smart) +roku. the sony has better PQ but the F5000 is good too.

anyways just don`t buy lg tv couse it has crap PQ,very low contrast, blacks are washed out.VA panels or plasma for tv`s FTW

It's sad that they went away. It's just because they didn't have as much marketing behind them as samsung tvs and people instantly think that oversatured colors in tv stores are better.

I agree with everything you said except that LG is crap... because it isn't. Certainly if you compare a $1000 LG set to a $3000 Panasonic ZT/VT60, then yeah the Panasonic will blow it out of the water. But price for price, LG makes some good TV's, especially their plasma sets.

I have an LG 50PA6500 50" plasma and the picture quality simply blew me away.

That's fine but you did not specify in your post what kind of LG TV you were talking about. Just "Don't buy lg tv". Not very specific is it?
