GPU stops working

I have an EVGA RTX 2060 SC Ultra on my new build and it requires one PCI-E cable. Well I plug it in and my monitor picked no signal and the fans stop spinning after a while. My monitor also won't pick up my motherboard as a signal when I plugged it through HDMI. It works with my Switch perfectly but not the PC. Any help would be amazing.

What are the rest of your specs?

try changing different display or hdmi ports you have,  the fans might just stop spinning because it does need to run the fans , if not that it might not be getting power but i need more details
