Hello I just finished building my first pc and after installing windows I'm trying to get it setup to the internet. I have a 50' Cat 8 ethernet cable but it's not being recognized by the computer. I have installed the  Intel LAN driver from my laptop and moved it over to my new desktop via USB but not sure what to do from there. I saw another possible fix saying to delete and reinstall the driver from manage devices but mine doesn't match their pictures at all. Mobo is Phantom Gaming 4s x570

go to your motherboards support page, and get the chip set software. those unknown devices, listed below in "other devices", need to be installed to allow the Ethernet to install.

Okay I've downloaded every driver except for the bottom 4 (don't need) I think and also Intel LAN due to an error. It says I need to download a feature for an app .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0). When I try to download .NET Framework 3.5 I get the same exact error message as when I try to download Intel LAN.

Next day update. Still having issues downloading my LAN driver from my mobos support page. It's saying I need to install .NET Framework 3.5. After searching online I learned I can turn the feature on in the control panel under windows features but when I try to enable it by checking the box I still get an error. I can't seem to find a fix for this anywhere online for windows 10.

My hard drive was doa and it's in the process of being exchanged, because of that I had to install windows on my m.2 SSD. I dont have a windows key yet but will get it next check so I installed windows knowing I would have that annoying watermark till then. I'm not sure if any of that is effecting me but I just thought I'd share it anyways just in case.

go download (with your phone or other device) 3dp.net (for network driver) or 3dp chip for another driver needs. it just a small program with a great driver database. but when installing it (specially 3dp chip), make sure you are not just clickin yes because sometimes it ask your permission to download other useless program like chromium etc
