gpu giving wrong signal

My gpu giving wrong signal after login screen and under load 

Gpu is gtx 970

Monitor 2 hp 27es 

Cpu R7 2700x

boot in safe mode and it should lower the resolution down to something the monitor supports long enough to set the correct desktop res

Go to safe mode use ddu and do as what @emosunsaid

i didnt even tweak anything inside my cabinet i tried to get in safe mode i am getting this first time also before all of this my both displays go black but sound was playing in background

i just reinstall my gpu and reconnected everything everything working fine

computer working fine now lets see how long  

first i was getting signal error then PCIe power cables error 

My gpu dying?

No I doubt it's a dying GPU it was probably just a loosened up pcie cable and for the signal error probably drivers acting up but nothing else
