Hello, I would like to ask, Recently I bought used radeon HD 7850 and I noticed, that my graphic card is not running on 100%, actually it is sitting at around 60-70 in most cases. But when I run benchmark of some sort(Unigine heaven etc...) than the gpu usage will go up to 100. The first thing that comes to mind is CPU bottleneck but here is the problem, my CPU is usually when gaming running at only around 50-60% as well. I have checked the temperatures in msi afterburner and they seems fine. Also I am using quite old system (tight budget), so I do not know if that is the problem.

I have ms-7613 motherboard (old hp prebuild board)

Intel xeon x3440

Radeon HD 7850

Corsair CV550W PSU

8gb 1333mhz DDR3 Ram

(Sorry for my English, but I am not from a English speaking country)

Your GPU doesn't have to sit at a 100% all the time while gaming

Try a stress test like furmark and if it is pinned at 100% your for the most part good to go

That's normal, very little games actually scale above 4 threads. What game you tried it on?

I have tried CSGO, Destiny 2, Minecraft Java and yes thanks for response, in some games such as Dirt rally it works just fine.
