The motherboard has 2 PCI-E 16X slots and two 1X slots

Ok so you'll need PCI-E risers. I've always used powered risers for simplicity, Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Converter-Extender-Flexible-Extension-Connector/dp/B00HB1T54S/ref=pd_cp_pc_0

You will probably need to short the PCI-E 1x slots like so: http://www.gobitgo.com/articles/1001/How-To-Correctly-Use-and-Install-PCI-E-Riser-Cables/

Just get 2 x1 to x16 risers and another 2 x16 risers for 4 GPUs. Or you could get some splitters so you can use more than one GPU with one PCI-E slot.

CPU: Intel i7 8700K | CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 | RAM: Kingston HyperX 2x8GB | Motherboard: Asus ROG Z370-E | GPU: MSI GTX 970 | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB & 2TB | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB & 970 EVO M.2 500GB | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X | PSU: Silverstone Platinum Strider 1100W | Monitor: AOC i2367Fh | Headphones: ATH-M40X | Mic: Antlion ModMic 4 | Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB w/ MX Browns | Mouse: Logitech G502 HERO
