I own an Asus Zephyrus GX531 with a RTX 2070 Max-Q and intel i79750H. I have had many thermal issues with this laptop in the past, so I sent it into Asus for warranty repair. After receiving it back, I noticed that the thermal issues were worse than before. The CPU runs anywhere from 90-100 C; I have never seen issues like this before. Undervolting the CPU has given me little to no difference; it runs just as hot as before and results in huge lag spikes in every game I play. CS:GO runs at around 180 FPS normally but would suddenly drop to around 30, MCC would run 150 fps then drop to 15, Dota 2 would run at 170 and drop to 45. These seem to happen randomly. Is there anything I can do?

laptops have pretty bad thermal issues. that cpu uses very much power and power=heat. you could mod the laptop but it will void warranty

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
