VGA cable not fitting

fleuor

I finished building my first PC last night and today I realized the VGA cable wasn’t fully plugged into the power supply (EVGA 600w BQ), so I tried plugging it in all the way but it wouldn’t click. I’ve confirmed it’s the right cord and the input, and the other end plugs into the graphics card just fine, but it just won’t go in all the way. It fits perfectly in the hole and there doesn’t seem to be any damage on the cord or the input.  I’ve asked multiple friends and they’re all stumped or say to get a new one, anybody know what’s wrong?

You have it reserved. The end you have connected to your graphics card is the end that should be connected to the PSU.

I second this. And while you're swapping it, ensure all your cables are oriented the right way, with the PSU marked side in the PSU, and vise versa.
