My First Gaming Rig

EYEfinity

Hey guys, this is my first build and I was going for a red and black themed build. I was thinking of going for a ROG board but they were way out of my budget. :(

Please give advice for any parts and recommendations for any replacements. :)

btw it is a gaming oriented build:P (I play many FPS games(FC3) and RTS games such as sc2 and LoL)

CPU: i5 3570k

Mobo: MSI Z77a-GD65 Gaming

Ram: G.SKILL RipjawsX 16GB (4x4) or Mushkin redlines 16GB (4x4)

Heatsink: Corsair H80i

Case: Corsair C70 Black

PSU: Corsair A760i

GPU: Asus GTX680 TOP

Optical Drive: LG Black 12x Blu-ray Combo Drive
HDDs: WD Black 1TB   WD Green 3TB

Boot Drive: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB

throwing in some alchemy LED strips for lolz :D

I'm planning to get a ton of either corsair AF/SP fans or Bitfenix Spectre pros to put in the C70 and i'm not sure which.

That's a very nice build for a first timer :D

But I would have gone with 2 x 8GB instead of 4 x 4GB of RAM. It's a more optimized configuration.

You could have gotten a 7950 for a cheaper and faster card, but the 680 should be fine.

760W is an overkill, lower it down to at least a 600W power supply.

I couldn't agree more--especially for a red/black themed build.
