Upgrading My Pc

Budget (Not too expensive):

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Call of Duty moderwarfare

So i recently bought the game and i noticed that it wasn't runing very smoothly making not very fun to play what would be some good upgrades for my PC here my specs right now appreciate it.

Currently runing on very low settings

I was told to upgrade my GPU to 1660 just trying to get more opinions

Start by running some gaming benchmarks. That might give some helpful information about where your biggest bottleneck is. Without that it's pretty hard to know what you should upgrade.

your cpu is bottlenecking your gpu also ddr3 ram is pretty bad so i recommend switch to amd processors like the ryzen 5 3600 or atleast get an i5 8400 or 8400k and you should also buy a new motherboard with ddr4 slots because the graphics card is fine

I don't know why you would suggest that someone switch platforms as an "Upgrade." That being said, I agree that the CPU is probably a weak point. The ram, while not especially fast, is probably solid for that system. Unfortunately for OP, A motherboard-cpu-ram replacement might be the best path to take even though it's pretty expensive.
