Hello guys, im completely new here so im sorry if i posted this in the wrong section. My problem is that when i play games i keep getting weird graphical glitches and sometimes the games even crash. I though that my GPU might be broken. So i tested it on my friends computer but i wasn't able to replicate the issue. I have reinstalled drivers and even wiped my windows but the glitches won't go away. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks!

I have

i7-9700k,

ASUS z370 prime A II,

16gb ddr4,

850w PSU,

ASUS rog strix RTX 2070 Super.

I uploaded some videos of what these glitches look like while i run FurMark, and those XD -s appear on the screen. They look the same in games.

Can you lend it to your friend to use as their main GPU for a while to be sure it doesn't happen there?  Because if I recall correctly this is exactly the symptom those early launch faulty RTX cards displayed before dying completely.

If it works for them and not you long-term, I'd be wanting to test other components such as the PSU.

Looks like the memory's going bad, as was going on with the first batches of FE RTX cards (the whole space invader fiasco).

Do you have any overclocks on the card? In the FurMark video it says the GPU is running at 124% power.

I only maxed out the power limit in afterburner nothing else, but i did it recently for testing and i had these issues before. I bought the card last year in August brand new.

Oh, alright. Try underclocking the memory and see if it still happens, though I don't guarantee that lowering the clock will help with this issue. It's very likely that you'll need to RMA the card.

I underclocked the memory and still got stretches. Guess i'll RMA the card. I had no idea about the RTX artifacts, but you learn something new everyday. Thanks for your help!
