So, I just got my elgato capture card. 4K60 Pro to be exact. However, I am running into some problems. The elgato capture software won't detect the card, and when i test it using Streamlabs OBS, by going through my graphics card to the capture card and to my right monitor using all HDMI (I want to use this for my PS4 if i get it working), it shows me the image I should be getting on OBS, but not on the monitor itself, as seen in the picture. Any thoughts? I've tried different hdmi cords, so i know the cords aren't the problem

Here's my computer specs

CPU: i7-2600

Motherboard: asrock Z77 extreme4

RAM: ddr3 16 gb

Graphics: gtx 1070

I know that it could be my CPU, Ram, or my motherboard having some limitations and it needs an upgrade, but i really hope it's not the cause of my problem. I have two PCIe 16 slots on my board, so I thought it should work fine

Check your motherboard bios that the slot it's in is active, I ran into a similar issue with my capture card before when I didn't realize enabling usb 3.1 disabled the lower pcie slots

So I tried going into the bios to check, but I don't think my board supports 3.1. I did however find the controller for the PCIe slot, and I increased the speed from auto to gen3, and the same problem happened.

Another problem I once had was that the the card wasn't properly seated, and once I had to download an old driver to get it to show up.

I tried swapping my graphics card with the slot and the same thing occurred, so I know that both ports work. I'll try using older drivers. Thank you for your help.

So I did some more research, and it turns out that the i7-2600 can only run one PCIe 16 slot at a time, so it can't run my graphics card and the capture card at the same time. I do plan on upgrading soon with the new b550 boards coming this next month, so I can wait. Thanks for your help.
