is it bottlenecking?

so its my first pc build and i wnat to know : i have a ryzen 3 2200g and a 500w power supply and a gtx 1060 3g whenever i plug the power supply to it the pc blinks on and off and shuts down in a period of ~0.3s  i wan to know if its the power supply or the processor that is bottlenecking, im on a budget and cant buy both new power supply and processor, does anyone know whats the problem?

That's not how bottlenecking works?  What is your PSU model?

could be shorting out somewhere on the case, i had the same issue until i replaced the motherboard stand-off screws for painted ones and checked nothing else was being shorted and it worked.

What do you mean by "whenever i plug the power supply to it"?

 

Do you unplug the machine when not in use?   I am confused.

What?  You don't plug the power supply to the computer?  So you disconnect the 24 pin?  Or do you mean you unplug the PSU from the wall?

no, i just dont plug the 6 pin to it, but everything else is normal

When you plug the PSU to the system, you get it turned on (lights) for less than half a second, then it turns off completely?
