Hi guys. I'm going to upgrade from my Pentium G2020 to i5-2400 soon. can I get noticably faster windows loading times and speed-up in programs like Filmora9, Photoshop and CPU-Intensive programs? will i5-2400 match my MOBO?
Will it be a good upgrade? (I wont upgrade to i7 since its much more expensive here and its basically i5 with Hyper Threading and has slightly higher clock.)
Can I get at least 10-20 more fps in games like GTAIV, GTAV and CSGO?
(Im not overclocking anything.)

One more question: is it needed to Reinstall Windows when new CPU is installed?

PC Specs:
Intel Pentium G2020 (Upgrading to i5-2400)
GTX 550 Ti 1GB GDDR5
4GB DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte H61M-S2PV REV 2.2 (BIOS is updated.)

Windows 7 SP1 x64

Any help would be appreciated :)

It will help some, but you most likely need an SSD in the system to really affect your load times in windows and games. You will still be severely bottlenecked in load times by mechanical drives.
