Hello everyone,

for my birth day a few years back my dad gave me a pre build Medion desktop. Now i really want to upgrade it with a GPU, Ram, PSU.
These are the specs of my system:

-i5 6400

-4gb ddr3 memory

-350w PSU (no 6 pin conector)

-No gpu

I really wanna to play games on it.
I also already though about how many ram i should get i think 16gb ram

For GPU i was thinking a 1660ti or 2060 but idk which one i should get. Idk if im able to use rtx mode with my i5 6400.

For the PSU i though a 650w is enough.

(Also i have a 1080p 60hz display I maybe wanna upgrade that to 1080p 144)
I hope you guys can help me out with what kind of components I should get.

Hi,

Bit of a weird thing to say but. Sell it.

You are going to need:

Ram

Psu

Gpu

So pretty much half a new pc. That and the i5 6400 is having issues playing modern games and there is not a chance you'll get 144fps with it in new games anymore part from very light ones.

I'd recommend to sell it for around 250 or so and then get a ryzen 2600/3600 with a b450 board or b550 depending on when you upgrade.
