Uograde options please

I want to upgrade my build (on a tight budget) but not sure where to start. My system specs are...

Asus tuf b450 pro gamer atx mobo

Ryzen 3 2300x

2x 8gb corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 2400

Zotac gtx 970

Not certain which components to uograde for better oerformace. I have a 1080p 27 inch benq monitor. And suggestions woukd be gratefull.

My budget is about £150ish.

Upgrade your CPU to the 3300x I would say. The RAM is pretty slow though, you might want to save up for 3200mhz or at least 3000mhz RAM as well. Later on if you are willing to spend more money AMD's next generation of GPUS or nvidia AMPERE (3000 series/2600 series) will offer (probably) really great value. Any gpu at less than maybe 200 or even 300 euros would be a downgrade or sidegrade. You also may want to take a look at a high-refresh monitor if that benq isnt.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

I was thinking on the 3600 or 3700. And i hope to get 3200mhz corsair ram too.  Just a shame i cant afford a 1080 gpu. Will i bottleneck any where on my present build or if i upgraded to the 3600
