Hello guys,

BEFOR u all flame me for looking for a Wireless Keyboard, let me explain.

Well I use for years the Logitec K800 Wireless keyboard and I stil LOVE it ! i think its one of the best KB I ever had. its wireless, it lights up, has media controlle, uses an rechargeable battery that stays for at least 2 weeks.

I LOVE wireless Peripherals I use a Cyborg R.A.T. 9 and i think its great ! (only few complains). I hate when you have a nice looking PC but like 100 cables out of the back that looks like a big mass !

But my K800 is broken, my "enter "-key fall off and my cat puke ofer it -.-

so now i want a new fancy keyboard and because on LTT and everywhere they allways jsut say, buy a mechanical KB. well I never used a MKB and I hav eno idear how it feels or which switch is the right one for me. BUT I want for sure a wireless KB.  Most of the time I play games like lol, FPS, etc etc. surfing and chat.. so I don't really type every day a book but i also not a medium user...

So my Q. is ; is there a good MKB thats wireless and if yes what typ of switch should it have ? (i prev. a silent KB) oh yes it has to be with 104 key (number block)

i know its a strange question but I hope you understand it  ^^' (my english is bad  xD)

Mechanical keyboards aren't silent :P

Unless you get something like a black switch with the keys made out of rubber then they will make noise :P

Because Mechanical keyboards are already more money so wireless would probably be 170+ , also it would be most likely hard to make and right now there is no market for them

Going along with others, you won't really find a "good" silent wireless mech keyboard. I was also looking for one about a month ago and I just took the wired route because the keyboard is not moving anyway. I also took MX Reds which I would recommend for not being loud and great for gaming and only good for typing if you are accurate (linear feel instead of a bump). You could also look for an MX Brown one if you like having tactile feedback which is generally called the midpoint for gaming and typing. So can't exactly recommend a wireless keyboard because they are rare and expensive, but I would rethink the wireless thing if you want a mechanical keyboard.

Gaming  -------     Typing

Red     Brown     Blue

The Noppoo Choc Mini 84-2M is an 84-key wireless mechanical keyboard. Comes in red, black, blue. Noppo and a few other manufacturers are short on brown switches, so it's currently not available in brown. Also, there are LED versions but they're all out of stock on Taobao (Chinese eBay). They come with real nice, thick POM cherry profile keycaps, unlike the taller, usually thinner ABS OEM keycaps on most mechanical keyboards. They help with the noise as well.

A guy named qTan sells them on eBay and on his own website here. He has a support forum over on geekhack.org. I have one with red switches on the way and should be here within a week.

I know this is my first post but I'm not associated to qTan or Noppoo in any way.

If you add o-rings to red, black or brown switches you can almost eliminate the bottom out sound, by the way, and make the sound comparable to membrane keyboards.

There's a couple out there but you should know they REALLY aren't cheap. We're talking top of the line of an already exclusive product. I'd be surprised if you find any under $170. Also, I've never seen them as full sized keyboards.

These are the ones I'd get (Filco makes amazing keyboards) if I was considering one:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/?_nkw=filco+mechanical+wireless

but here's a list I found with different brands' models:

http://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/wiki/wireless-mechanical_keyboards

So I think you'd be choosing between having it full sized or wireless.

ps: I'd recommend brown switches for your first mechanical, whether you decide to get it wireless or not. Good luck!
