No output from new PC

Hello I just built my first PC last night. It was fun, but when I turned everything on there was no video output. All of the fans are working and so are the leds. My build is a 770 with an 8350 on a gigabyte 990FXA-UD3. Is there any way to see what is wrong? are My parts DOA? I would just like some help please.

do u have another video cable to test?

There are many, many, many things to test before DOA. 

When it turns on does it stay on?

 

1) Do you have your CPU power pin connected (check all power cables)

2) Test memory one stick at a time in the first slot

3) CPU fan plugged in the correct spot?

Thanks I'm an idiot *facepalm* ya i didn't plug in the CPU
