Scanline Sync on RTSS

I've been trying to use RTSS to limit my fps, but recently I read that you can get no tearing and less input lag using S-Sync. I have tried moving things up and down, but I don't perceive any changes. Can someone explain me how to set it up correctly

Note: not that I just don't feel any changes, there isn't any changes (at least I wanna think that since i don't know if I'm setting it up correctly)
