I've come to the decision that I need to get a better cooler and as my budget tight I have limited options. This is a continuation of a different thread of mine where I came to the conclusion that I need a better cooler to overclock my I5-9600k reason for making it it's own thread is because  I never/hardly seem to get reply's after a few days.

These are my options

CM Masterliquid Lite 240 59,90 € free shipping

Deepcool Gammaxx L240 - Liquid Cooler 69,90 € free shipping

ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 69,90 € free shipping

Deepcool cooler DP-GS-H12RL-MS 65,90 € free shipping

Deepcool MAELSTROM 240T - Liquid Cooler 64,90 € free shipping

Can anyone give me any tips on which to get?

Nzxt kraken X52 240  aio there’s one on pcpartpicker  it’s got cam reader to tell you cpu temps and it’s £100 and 5 stars I would never get an aio But I know for a fact that for a cheap aio this is a good aio for the price and has really low chance of pump failure and leakage and has a 6 year warranty for the aio and most likely will cover parts in the warranty but seems that these are out of your budget you may as well get an air cooler instead I would say a dark pro 4 air cooler which is about £70 which would be around 80 dollars in America so that’s something to consider I personally think you should go air cooler because you won’t have to check a pump and it will last longer the air cooler will than an aio personally

Now, with the warranty information, couple that with reviews and come to an informed decision, (assuming you don't get better direction from others :P)

Firm believe in steering people in a direction, not shoving it in their face ^_^

That, and as it has been shown on quite a few tech channels, Air cooling is just as good as water cooling in many applications (assuming you get a good tower cooler that is)

I've used a Hyper 212 from CM for ages, and never had overheating issues even with overclocks (that's not to say my bedroom never got hot lol, but hey....heat has to go somwhere)

Quotes are used not to remind the OP of what he/she/they said, but rather for other to understand what someone is referring to.

Yes, you can select how much or how little of a post you want to quote.

Yeah I looked around and found the Be-Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 for 81,60€ after shipping and the base model Be-Quiet Dark Rock 4 for 66,49€

But id like to know how it compares to the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 I saw A LOT of reviews for it and all of them MEGA POSITIVE but well I

also saw similar things with the Be-Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 just now.

Dark rock pro 4 will be bigger than the normal dark rock 4 and will have more head rooms for overclocking personally I would get the dark rock pro 4 over the normal Dark Rock 4 and imagine the price gap between the 2 on the market won’t be huge either so I recommend it go the pro model instead of the normal version and dark rock pro 4 and if you want a decent aio cooler for 240mm then go for nzxt kraken x52 aio reviews are mega positive for this aio meaning lower chance of pump failure and the chance of the aio pump leaking will also be very low and you will get a nice feature which is nzxt exclusive called CAM software which is buggy at times but that’s like anything and it  shows your cpu temps if you program it to that or to show the nzxt logo on the CAM on the aio so there’s 2 decent coolers an aio and an air cooler to I’m going to be honest these are what Im going to go for If I went for an aio and if I went for an air cooler

On GamersNexus they did some temps on the Arctic Liquid Freezer II Cooler 280 and it defeated NZXT Kraken x62 and the x72 which are supposed to be better than the NZXT Kraken x52 right? So shouldnt it be about the same between the NZXT Kraken x52 and Arctic Liquid Freezer II Cooler 240

Fair, I will think about it a bit, do some measurements to see if I can even fit a Be-Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 and then decide. If it does fit its going to be a very tight fit if because of the size of my GPU and my cases top fans which I might have to remove.

Ye if you don’t want to risk having pump failure and the risk of an aio leaking go for the dark rock pro 4 air cooler that’s what I’m going for in the pc parts I want so I don’t have to check the pump of the aio and temps as much but have equally good performance or better than some aios out there on the market if I would go for an aio it would be nzxt x52 for the price but seems that I would prefer an air cooler I’m going to be going for a dark rock pro 4 air cooler instead and it’s black and kind of fits a theme if I were to go for one  I would have Black with rgb motherboard and rgb Corsair 120mm fans and everything else is going to be black and that way It’s not overpriced but still has a bit of rgb pretty much a mix of rgb and just black and I think it would look cool that way to and that’s why I’m going to use that theme personally

I got an Arctic Freezer II 360 aio and I love it. Very easy to install and the instructions online are animated, which is a nice step up. I also like that all of the fan and aio control is powered off of one fan header connection, saving you from a spiderweb of cables to attach.
