yes, you just need to make sure the apu is set as the primary display device.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Yes, you can run the video off the APU instead to take load off the GPU. I would personally choose to use 750 Tis. They have proven to be quite good with mining performance/watt.

For Litecoin and Dogecoin, ~300 when OCd to 1200 core. It's quite an easy overclock for that GPU.

well, that is a good option, but two of those would be ~$300-400 and would only give me around 600 Kh/s a single R9 270 gives me ~750 Kh/s and its only $200. if i wanted a huge setup i would go with that cause no good psu needed!

Overclocked they should be running you at 265 each at 60 watts. If you get two it would be around 530. For just like 50 dollars more you get around 20% more performance and less power consumption.
