Hi,

Motherboard: Z390-A Pro (MS-7B98)
Hard drive in M.2 slot: Intel Optane 500Gb drive - This is my current hard drive containing windows.

I wanted to add another NVME drive to my PC but my mother board doesn't have a spare slot so I bought a PCIE expansion card along with a 1TB NVME drive.

I inserted the card and windows would not boot.  I got a M2 Genie error after POST.  If I go into the bios I can see the new drive although it isnt listed under storage.  M2 Genie is enabled (not by me as it was a pre-built PC).

How do I get the new drive installed and the PC bootable to the current version of windows.  This will mean that the optane drive remains as the bootable windows drive and the new NVME is just an additional drive.  There should be no raid configured as all the current drives show up separately.

Thanks
