Alright ladies and gents. I am needing some help on a work project. We recently bought an early 90's German transmission dyno that is run with the ancient MS DOS command prompt. We have run into a problem as the original computer that came with this million dollar system has long since died. We found a computer from the decade and are trying to get it up and communicating. The only problem is it does so via an acient ISA com card. We are needing the ability to send and receive off of two separate ports to get the machine running. Our main issue is that the computer recognizes the card and shows both ports but only one will send/receive and the other will only receive.

Do we have any old school guys who could help me troubleshoot?

PS before anyone asks, upgrading the system is a last resort only situation as to do so we would likely have to spend an addition few $100K dollars to do so.
