CPU upgrade help needed

Hello, I'm planning on upgrading my PC for my 18th bday and I don't know what to actually upgrade to.

At first I thought that Intel Core I7 7700 would be a good choice, however my eyes have been opened to the might of Ryzen CPU's.
Right now my plan is to switch my motherboard (Asus H110M-K) to the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, and the Ryzen 5 3600X, though i have some concerns as to the possibly needed BIOS update.
My budget sits around 450 euros ($487). Can anyone here help me choose the best option my money can buy?
Here are my full specs:

With that Motherboard you can flash the BIOS even without a CPU so you won't have any problem.

That "slow" memory will somehow limit the performance of the Ryzen CPU, you should consider an upgrade if possible.

Also you should consider get a SATA or NVMe SSD in the future - it is not essential but you will see a significant improvement.

The MAX motherboards support Ryzen 3000 out of the box as they were released pretty much with the purpose of supporting them from the start.

Completely agree on the parts about the memory and an SSD.

I completely agree on these parts, so It looks like I'll be upgrading to a Ryzen 5 3600X, the Tomahawk MAX mb and Corsair Vengeance memory however, now I don't

know if my 450W PSU will handle the load. I used the OuterVision calculator to estimate power usage for a heavy load, and it came up with ~446 W. Do you think that upgrading to a "be quiet System Power 9 500 W" PSU would be a recommended if not a "must have" option?

PSU calculators are generally pretty bad and they usually overestimate by a lot. You'll be fine with 450 watts with that setup BUT if you plan on swapping the GPU to something like a 2070 Super or higher class GPU a PSU upgrade now wouldn't be a bad idea anyway. I would say 500 to 550 watts would be plenty.
