PC Part Picker will allow you to calculate what you need when you put the build together part for part on their site. I'd probably say 650 watt, can't imagine you'd need much more than that. I'm running a 9600k with 5.2 ghz across all 6 cores and an RTX 2080, also oc'd with a 650w platinum PSU

I need help picking a wattage and brand of power supply.

I am going to run a Ryzen 7 3700x, 5700xt 16gb of ram, and a 570x Strix-E.

I want fully modular as well.

Thank you for any advice :)

50W for the base System

150W Max for the CPU

200W Max for the 5700XT

So you're just around 400W total but you should always leave room (say 200W) for expansion and try and run the Power Supply in the 40-60% load for best efficiency and lifespan and lowest noise.

I'd suggest a 650 or 750W unit, Seasonic, EVGA or Corsair are all brands I'd recommend. You can save a bit of cash going for a semi-modular like the Corsair RMx series where the Motherboard and CPU cables are all-black and wired versus the H or A-series.
