Hackintosh + Windows Build

Hi all ,

I was wondering if it would be possible to build a hackintosh on a virtual machine .. system will be Ryzen 7 3600x + 32 Gb Ram + Nvidia 1660 super discrete graphic card with MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI Motherboard .

Yes you can run pretty much boot anything in a VM...especially on such a system. Prepare for possible issues with wifi drivers tho. Although different for every system, incompatabilities occur quite often with hackintoshes

Don't get a Nvidia card if you intend to do GPU passthrough. Nvidia cards do not work on macOS Mojave or further. Last version they work on is High Sierra and even there with Web Drivers, so you do not get full performance.

You aren't running (modern) MacOS with an Nvidia GPU, don't even bother trying.

But lets say i'm not using MacOS to run any graphical editing environments (ie. Photoshop,Premier Pro etc) but only need it to run xcode will i still need to do a GPU passthrough ? internet connectivity might be the biggest hurdle here for testing and prototyping apps.
